Wildlife photography workshop
Hides and photographic tour
A good wildlife photographer not only looks for the best shot, but also cares about getting to know the target animal and, most of all, protecting its environment and well-being.
This hide photography workshop teaches the basics on taking pictures from inside the hide in a completely practical way, offering improvement tips, tricks and recommendations during two sessions at two of our hides in the Spanish region of Avila. One session is all about birds of prey and the other overlooks a waterer for passerine birds.
We will start the workshop with a bird of prey hide photography session to practice flight shots and close-ups, portraits of birds on natural perches and low-key photographs.
The day will end with another hide photography session in the afternoon to try and put everything we have learned into practice, taking pictures of small birds at a popular artificial drinking spot for goldfinches, chaffinches, blackbirds and a host of other species.
We will also be working in a small group to ensure each participant receives individualised attention and gets to make the very most of this activity.
Remember that you can fully customise this activity based on your preferences. Get in contact with us for more information.
