Amphibian watching
Nocturnal trail
With spring rainfall and rising temperatures comes the birth of a great many small amphibians that we will discover on this gentle trail for the whole family.
The species we aim to see on this amphibian watching expedition are the common toad, natterjack toad, Spanish spadefoot toad and, if we are lucky and the temperature is right, the southern marbled newt and the Iberian ribbed newt.
And, of course, we will always show the utmost respect for the animals and their environment by not touching them or altering their habitat.
We will be taking a short and easy walk at dusk, stopping for dinner in the countryside (meal not included).
We will lend you any equipment you need for the activity, so all you have to do is come and enjoy a summer night with us.
